 Childcare Connections Registration

Contact us to find out more about registering your child for our after school clubs and holiday clubs. Childcare Connections provides a safe environment for your child, cared for by our trained and experienced team of staff who are on hand to ensure that they are cared for during their time with us.

Registering Your Child

Before a child can attend a Childcare Connections club the parent/carer must have completed their registration a registration form and attended a parent registration meeting.

If your child requires specific medical or dietary needs we ask for much detail as possible to added to the registration form to ensure we provide the right care for your child. The form is discussed in full at your parent registration meeting.

Only authorised adults from your list of collectors provided on your child’s details can collect your child. Please note if a person arrives to collect a child and they are not on the list we will be unable to allow the child to leave without speaking to the person who made the booking.

Trained Staff

All Childcare Connections staff prior to starting work undergo a rigorous recruitment process, this includes a Protection of Vulnerable Children (PVG) Disclosure and Barring Service check and checking of references. All staff are required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Once employment has commenced Childcare Connections provides all staff with the opportunity to continue in their ongoing professional development and to develop their wider knowledge and skills. All staff receive appropriate training such as Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene, along with a variety of other training.

All of our after school clubs are registered with the Care Inspectorate
